    Welcome to Beijing, the capital of China. Your private guide will pick you up at the airport on time and transfer you in a comfortable vehicle to your hotel.
  • Day2

    Beijing: Tian'anmen Square, Forbidden City and Hutongs by Rickshaw

    Today's experiences include Beijing's classic and epic sites: Tian'anmen Square, the world's largest urban square, and the Forbidden City, home to 24 emperors during the Ming and Qing dynasties.
    Hutongs, a labyrinth of historic lanes and traditional houses with courtyards, are only seen in Beijing. After lunch, a "Rickshaw" ride through the narrow streets and visit a local family make this a truly special experience.

    Beijing: Temple of Heaven and Mutianyu Great Wall

    After breakfast we will go to Temple of Heaven, where the emperors prayed for a good harvest each annual ceremony, and it’s an impressive exhibition of architecture and intricate carvings.
    The most important thing of today’ visit is Mutianyu Great Wall - a less crowded section, which allows for a restful stroll along the wall, and presents a magnificent view as if it was snaking through the hills and mountains.

    Beijing: Summer Palace and Yonghe Temple (Lamas Temple), Beijing to Xian by High Speed Train

    Today we are going to visit Summer Palace, which is the largest and most beautiful imperial Chinese garden. It is considered as a garden museum in China. Then we continue to Yonghe Temple, the largest and best preserved lamasery in Beijing in Chinese and Tibetan-Han style, which witnessed the history of the Qing Dynasty.
    After Beijing tour, we will transfer you to train station for a high-speed train to Xian, the ancient heart of China. Upon arrival in Xian, your local guide will pick you up and help you check in at the hotel.

    Xian: Terracotta Army and Big Wild Goose Pagoda

    Today sufficient time is provided to visit the Terracotta Army, each unique figure, who has guarded the entrance of Emperor Qinshihuang’s Mausoleum since 210 B.C. It was listed by UNESCO as one of the World Cultural Heritages.
    After lunch we move to Big Wild Goose Pagoda, a simple and elegant brick pagoda built in the 7th century, which is located on the grounds of the attractive Da Ci'en Temple.

    Xian: Shaanxi History Museum, Ancient Wall of Xian, Muslim Quarter and Great Mosque, Xi’an to Chengdu by High-Speed Train

    Today’s first visit is Shaanxi History Museum - a large modern national-level museum where you can see artifacts that have been collected in Shaanxi province since the cave man 18,000 years ago. Then you will walk along the Ancient Wall of Xian, a landmark of Xian. It is the oldest and largest city's defense system in China.
    The Great Mosque is one of the earliest and largest Islamic mosques in China. It’s an example of the merging of traditional Chinese architecture which that of Islamic mosques. And you can buy some souvenir at the famous Muslim Quarter nearby.
    At night, you will be transferred to railway station for high-speed train to Chengdu. Your tour guide of Chengdu will await you at the train station.

    Chengdu: Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding, People's Park, Jinli Ancient Street

    Today, you will enjoy your interesting trip to the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding, which has built and imitated the natural habitat of pandas in the hope that they could have the best possible environment for breeding and reproduction. There you can see pandas almost in their natural environment.
    And then, you will return to the city for visiting People's Park to experience the authentic local life of Chengdu. You will be able to have a cup of tea in a traditional tea house, see the old local couples dancing, and participate in the locals to play mahjong or cards at the tea house... You will enjoy Chengdu leisure lifestyle.
    You can't miss an opportunity to visit Jinli Ancient Street - an old street completely restored in the traditional Sichuan’s style, and it’s picturesque, bustling and full of local crafts, traditional Chinese goods, food and delicacies.

    Chengdu to Guilin by Flight, Elephant Trunk Hill and Reed Flute Cave

    After breakfast you will be transferred to Chengdu airport for flight to Guilin, the city famous for beautiful natural scenery. Our local guide will pick you up at the airport.
    Today we will visit two famous sites in the city of Guilin - Elephant Trunk Hill and Reed Flute Cave.
    Elephant Trunk Hill appears just like an elephant drinking water from the river with its trunk, hence its name. The scenic spots in the park include Water Moon on Elephant Hill, Puxian Pagoda, the Love Island composed of three amusement islets, the Yunfeng Temple at the south foot of the hill, and the Sarira Pagoda in the southwest.
    One of the most famous caves in Guilin, the name of Reed Flute Cave is derived from the verdant reeds growing outside the cave, with which people make flutes. Inside the 240-meter-long cave are numerous grotesque shaped stalactites, which form four zones of the cave: Stone Forest, Heavenly Pillar and Cloud Mountain, Crystal Palace, and Zigzagging Gallery.

    Guilin: Li River Cruise to Yangshuo

    Today you will see spectacular limestone hills, elegant bamboo groves and farmers in rice fields during the Li River Cruise of 3 – 4 hours between Guilin and Yangshuo, which is an unforgettable experience. A lunch is served on the cruise.
    Upon arrival at Yangshuo and check-in at your hotel, you can enjoy the leisure time by yourselves.

    Yangshuo Coutryside, Guilin to Shanghai by Flight

    Today you take a trip through the Yangshuo countryside by electronic vehicle or bicycle to appreciate the poetic natural landscape. On the way, you can make a family visit and learn more about local life by talking to farmers.
    When you finish visits in Yangshuo, you will be transferred directly to Guilin airport for the flight to your next destination – Shanghai, the modern metropolis.

    Shanghai: Shanghai Museum, Yu Garden, Shanghai Old Street, the Bund and Shanghai Tower

    Established in 1952, the Shanghai Museum is hosed in a former bank building and at present display Chinese bronzes, ceramics and painting arranged in chronological order.
    Then we move to Yu Garden which is built in the Ming dynasty by provincial governor, Pan Yunduan, in honor of his father Pan En and you can visit the Shanghai Old Street nearby.
    Enjoy a stroll on the Bund, where 52 European buildings of 19th century are preserved among new developments. Today’s visit ends with the panoramic view of city from the Shanghai Tower – the new landmark of Shanghai.

•    Private Transfers: A private driver and a private tour guide will transfer you to airport/railway station, hotel and attractions in the cities in private air-conditioned vehicle.

This kind of hotel could meet the basic requirements for a pleasant stay, good size and clean rooms with air conditioning, TV, hot water, shower and private bathroom, hotel restaurants with breakfast included and lunch or dinner of your choice. A small gym or spa can be expected.
•    Comfortable Class Hotel (4 Stars)
You will normally stay in formal, large hotels conveniently located with shops, restaurants and entertainment facilities nearby. Quality service, fully furnished rooms, restaurants, gym and heated pool (in very rare cases there is no pool) all together offer an above-average accommodation experience.
•    Luxury Class Hotel (5 Stars)
Luxury hotel with first class service and a wide range of facilities will provide an excellent accommodation experience. There are several hotel restaurants with extensive menus to choose from, 24-hour room service available, concierge service and gym complete the experience.

Meals of Young's China Travel•     Meals
In your itinerary, it normally offers two meals each day: breakfast and lunch. You will have the freedom to choose your own dinner. If you have certain food allergies or special requirements such as vegetarian food, please let us know in advance. We will try our best to satisfy your special needs.

Normally served at the hotel where you stay. Depending on the hotel, breakfast is Western style, Chinese style or a combination.
Lunch - A la Carte 
In order to have our customers to taste authentic Chinese food and avoid tourist menus, we take food quality, dining environment and travel convenience into consideration when planning your lunch. Therefore , we will arrange a la carte lunch at a local restaurant whenever possible. Lunch a la carte is varied with different recommended restaurants and different cities. You could order the dishes according to your taste under the instructions of your guide. However, in some remote regions where it is difficult to find a non-tourist restaurant, you could have lunch at a local tourist restaurant or in a local family.
Your Own Dinner Option
Dinner is not included in our China travel package, unless you have this requirement. Looking for food by yourself could also be one of your best experiences in China. Therefore we offer you this flexibility of food choice. You can ask for your private guide to gain good suggestions.

When it is necessary to change your itinerary for unexpected reasons, your private travel guide will suggest alternatives to ensure that you still have an excellent experience.

Private Transfer
With our comfortable and safe private transfer, your trip will be more relaxing and less tiring, keeping you in the best spirits to make the most of your experience in China. In all destinations visited, your vehicle is air-conditioned, clean and expertly maintained. Your private driver is licensed, insured and experienced.
Normally we will arrange vehicles with more space for you and your luggages. Depending on the number of passengers, we generally use sedans or minivans (7 seats) for 4 people or less, large vans or small buses (12-22 seats) for 5 to 12 people, medium cars (33-37 seats) for 13 - 25 people and large buses (more than 45 seats) for more than 25 people.
