Hello Nina

Sorry for the delay on answering to you, the overall assesment is really positive. The Silk Road travel has become an unforgettable travel, both for the organization and for the visits. No doubt the agency and this trip is highly recommendable as well as the guide Mrs.Hong/Amanda.

Travel: Well designed, a very interesting route that has helped us to goo deep inside the wide Chinese culture and its different provinces and ethnicities. The valuation as organization and planning of the agency is very good.

Chosen visits: The designed route has been very complete, the planning of days in each successful city for the number of days we had, the scheduled visits in each location have been very interesting (we have combined culture, history, nature ...) and transport tickets (train-planes) all properly managed.

Hotels: Most of them agreeing with the expected standard, being the Crowne the best one. On the opposite side are Tianshui, Xiahe, Turpan and Urumuqi hotels. Those don't have a 5 stars' level, although I understand that there will no more choice in those cities.

Meals: They have all been quite satisfactory, in general very good, varied and abundant all meals in the province of Gansú. In Xinjiang Province, they have been simple, more frugal, without so much variety and in a specific place with very poor services (Turpan restaurant bathroom)

Hello Nina:

Sorry for getting back to you so late. I was off fishing in the lakes of Northern Wisconsin.

The China Trip was very successful, and you and Young's China Travel did your normal excellent job of preparing everything. The guides and transportation were never late, hotels were good, all sites scheduled were visited, and the food was of the local variety (not tourist food) and some of the best food one can eat in China. I was duly impressed, and the other participants kept saying that as we moved from one site to the next things just got better and better.  If I were to point out my criticisms, I would say that sometimes the guides did not really know the airports they were operating out of, which resulted in participants having to carry their bags a good long distance before boarding the transportation provided (with this being a big problem in Xining). Still, overall it was a great trip, for which I thank you again.

I will not be travelling widely to China in 2020, I will instead be spending most of my time in south Korea and Japan. However, I will be putting together another trip to China for 2021, this time the central (Yangtze Rive and Shanghai) and southern (focusing on Guilin and Yunnan Province) areas. I may very well make this a 4-5 Star Hotel only tour, and will keep you updated as things progress, as I would again like to work with you in planning it.

Sincerely.
