    Beijing: Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City and Hutong

    The day begins with a visit to Tiananmen Square. It is the largest square in the world and many important things in Chinese history started and ended here. It is surrounded by many monumental buildings and is worth seeing. Then it is the neighboring Forbidden City, which is one of the largest and best-preserved imperial residences in the world, used by 24 emperors from 1368 to 1911.
    In the afternoon, you will take a rickshaw tour of Hutongs and have a local family visit. This is a maze of residences with a single floor of antique style and is rapidly disappearing in recent years.

    Beijing: Temple of Heaven, Mutianyu Great Wal

    Today's first excursion is Temple of Heaven, where the emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties worshiped the sky for the good harvest. Now it’s a public park where the Chinese people exercise and practice martial arts in the morning. If time permits, we will fly kites in the Temple of Heaven.
    After lunch at a restaurant near the Great Wall, we will visit the Mutianyu Great Wall, which is a less crowded section and known for best scenery among all sections. The cable car can help you up and down.

    Beijing: Summer Palace and Yonghe Temple, Beijing to Xian by High Speed Train

    The last day in Beijing, the place of interest you will see today is the Summer Palace. This is another imperial family residential complex and is no less beautiful and no less important than the Forbidden City. Still, the architecture is very different and you can enjoy the visit. Afterwards, visit the Yonghe Temple (Temple of the Lamas), the largest Buddhist temple of the Tibetan Lama in Beijing and the most recognized in China (outside Tibet).

    Xian: Ancient City Wall, Terracotta Arm

    Today you can ride a bike on the Ancient City Wall with your children. Surrounding Xi'an city, the City Wall is an extension of the old Tang Dynasty structure. It is one of the most famous, well-preserved, the largest city wall in China.
    At noon you will learn how to make jiaozi, the famous traditional Chinese food and taste the jiaozi at a local restaurant.
    Discovering the famous Terracotta Army will be highlight of today. The Terracotta Army is a thematic museum for historical sites. It was built in 1979. The museum is a national cultural heritage under special protection and a state 5 A scenic attraction. Terracotta warriors & horses of 2000 years ago are the star features at the museum, serving as guardians to protect the entrance of Qin Shihuang's Mausoleum

    Shaanxi History Museum, Gao Family Mansion, Muslim Street, Xian to Chengdu by high-speed train

    Today you first will have an educational tour to Shaanxi History Museum and learn some history and see some of the most precious historical articles.
    Then we move to Big Wild Goose Pagoda. This square pyramid-shaped pagoda was built with grey bricks, serene and graceful. It houses a group of rare relics including the order tablets of Buddhism, Buddhist relics and gilded statutes of Buddha.
    You will see shadow play in Gao Family Mansion, located on Muslim Street. After that we can walk along Muslim Street and shop.
    Today ends with high-speed train to Chengdu, the hometown of panda
  • Day7

    Chengdu: Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding, Jinsha Ruins Museum and Jinli Ancient Street

    This morning we will go to the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding, about 6 kilometers north of Chengdu, to get a closer look at China's symbol: Giant Panda. These animals are not very active and are often seen sleeping or eating bamboo arrow. There is a panda museum, where you can learn some information about pandas.
    Then continue your trip to Jinsha Ruins Museum, which represents the splendid ancient Shu culture with a history of over 3, 000 years. Of the 3, 000 cultural relics excavated from the ruins, most of them are beautifully made handicrafts, such as vivid and lifelike stone sculptures, gold and jade seals and jadeite ornaments, in addition to a large number of burial objects, such as pottery and porcelain, ivory, tortoise shells and antlers.
    Jinli Ancient Street is a surviving representation of the folkloric style in western Sichuan and is filled with many old Ming and Qing dynasty-style houses and shops. Local produce and food can easily be found here.

    Panda Post, Road Chunxi, People's Park, Chengdu to Chongqing by High Speed Train, Yangtze River Cruise

    Today we will visit Panda Post, which is the only postal service in the world with the theme of Giant Panda, where you can buy all about panda, like stamps, postcards, albums, envelopes, toys and souvenirs. 
    Then we go to Road Chunxi to take pictures with the largest panda sculpture in China.
    You can experience the authentic local life of Chengdu in the People's Park. You will be able to have a cup of tea in a traditional tea house, see the old local couples dancing, and participate in the locals to play mahjong or cards at the tea house... You will enjoy Chengdu leisure lifestyle.
    After tour our guide will transfer you to the railway station to travel to Chongqing. Upon arrival, your guide will pick you up at the train station and transfer you directly to the Chaotianmen port for Yangze Cruise. You will embark on the boat from 18:00 to 20:00 and the cruise will leave Chongqing at 21:00. Overnight on board.

    Yangtze River: Fengdu(Optional), Shibaozha

    Today is the right time to navigate the immense Yangtze River. You will have a shore excursion to Shibaozhai. There is a great performance of Chinese folk music and dance by the cruise staff at the captain's welcome banquet at night.
    Shibaozhai: This spectacular monastery, on an island, lies at the foot of Lanruo Dian (Orchid Palace), built against 'the cliff. The most impressive feature of the Precious Stone fortress is the beautiful Lanruo Dian, a 12-height palace whose curly wings compare to an orchid.
    Optional Excursion -Fengdu: With a history of more than 2,000 years, Fengdu earned the nickname "Ghost City" for temples, buildings and statues. The carved facades are truly fascinating. Mt. Ming, a mountain dedicated to hell and its king, Tianzi, is dotted with temples, shrines and wax sculptures representing the most rugged aspects of hell.
    Note: On Victoria cruises you will have shore excursion to the Scenic Zone of the Jade Emperor in Fengdu instead of Shibaozhai.

    Navigation along the Yangtze River offers enchanting views of Qutang Gorge, Wu Gorge, Qutang Gorge.
    With cliffs on two banks form the magnificent scene of "the gate Kui is the greatest in the world". There are numerous historic sites and attractions in the Qutang Gorge; the Wu Gorge is known for its beauty and tranquility, cliffs and twelve peaks; the Xiling Gorge is the longest of the three gorges and is located within the Hubei Province.
    In the morning you can choose shore excursion to White Emperor City with extra cost. The shore excursion to Shennv Stream is included. Tonight there is a farewell banquet.
    Shennv Stream: It is a 60 kilometer tributary of the Yangtze River and one of the most attractive stretches of the crossing. Its throat narrows as the course is traced. Shennv Stream fascinates tourists with its special virtues of serenity, originality and primitivism. Floating on a boat, they can appreciate not only the natural scenes, but also experience joy and excitement in the fight against the winds and waves.
    Optional Excursion – Baidi (City of White Emperor): This tour offers the best place to observe and appreciate the magnificent gate of Kuimen. Baidi (City of White Emperor) is not a royal city, but a small town was the birthplace of the ancient State of Bashu over 2,000 years ago, located at the entrance to Qutang Gorge on the northern bank of the Yangtze River in the east part of Fengjie County.

    Yichang: Three Gorges Dam, Yichang to Shanghai by High-Speed Tr

    It is the last day of the cruise. You will disembark at Maoping pier and visit the famous Three Gorges Dam, which is the largest hydraulic project in the world and was built from 1994 to 2009. You can take pictures on the dam for memory. After the shuttle bus will transfer you to the passenger centre of Yichang. Your local guide will wait for you there and take you to the train station for the high-speed train to Shanghai.

    Shanghai: Jade Buddha Temple, Oriental Pearl TV Tower, Yu Garden, Yuyuan Marke, The Bund

    Today you can see the best of Shanghai. The first place of interest is Jade Buddha Temple, the most famous Buddhist temple in Shanghai where two rare jade statues of Sakyamuni Buddha are valuable. Afterwards, you will continue to visit the Yu Garden, a classical Chinese style garden. The Yuyuan Market offers the hobby of people in Shanghai: shopping. Almost anything can be found here, from antiques to snacks.
    The Oriental Pearl TV Tower is one of the tallest TV towers in the world. On the second floor there is a museum and you can see some very interesting exhibits there. The Bund is a must for tourists coming to Shanghai. The structures that coexist, classic and modernist style, have become the symbol of Shanghai.

•    Yangtze River Cruise: All meals on board, and shore excursions are included in the cost of the cruise. (Optional excursions are available on some boats). There are no private trips in this part. The ship's route is subject to change due to weather, arrangement of the ship company or other uncontrollable items.

In your itinerary, it normally offers two meals each day: breakfast and lunch. You will have the freedom to choose your own dinner. If you have certain food allergies or special requirements such as vegetarian food, please let us know in advance. We will try our best to satisfy your special needs.

Normally served at the hotel where you stay. Depending on the hotel, breakfast is Western style, Chinese style or a combination.
Lunch - A la Carte 
In order to have our customers to taste authentic Chinese food and avoid tourist menus, we take food quality, dining environment and travel convenience into consideration when planning your lunch. Therefore , we will arrange a la carte lunch at a local restaurant whenever possible. Lunch a la carte is varied with different recommended restaurants and different cities. You could order the dishes according to your taste under the instructions of your guide. However, in some remote regions where it is difficult to find a non-tourist restaurant, you could have lunch at a local tourist restaurant or in a local family.
Your Own Dinner Option
Dinner is not included in our China travel package, unless you have this requirement. Looking for food by yourself could also be one of your best experiences in China. Therefore we offer you this flexibility of food choice. You can ask for your private guide to gain good suggestions.
