    Beijing Arrival

    Arrival in Beijing, the capital of China, your travel guide will pick you up at the airport (Beijing Capital International Airport) and transfer to your comfortable hotel. You have free time to explore this city for the rest of the day.
  • Day2

    Beijing: Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City, Hutongs by Rickshaw

    After breakfast, we will depart from your hotel in the morning to visit Tiananmen Square - the world's largest urban square and the Forbidden City - the largest imperial palace complex, which was home to the emperors of Ming and Qing for over 500 years.
    In the afternoon, we head to Hutongs, a maze of ancient alleyways of traditional houses with courtyards, which is an essential part of Beijing's ancient life. You can take a rickshaw ride through the narrow streets and visit a local family. You will also have chance to experience the China traditional handicrafts, like facial mask painting of Beijing Opera, paper cutting or Chinese calligraphy.
    If you are interested in Kung Fu, you can ask for your local guide to reserve tickets for the Kung Fu show at night.

    Beijing: Temple of Heaven and Mutianyu Great Wall

    Today first we will visit the Temple of Heaven, which is a complex of Taoist buildings where the emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties visited for annual ceremonies to pray for good harvests. If time permits, we will fly kites in the Temple of Heaven.
    Then we visit the Mutianyu section of the Great Wall, the less crowded section than the Badaling, which is more popular among the foreign visitors. Walking on the venerable walls, you will be stunned by the incredible constructions and frightening landscape that surrounds the Wall.
    Finally, there's a Peking Roast Duck dinner for your family.

    Beijing Zoo and Summer Palace, Beijing to Xian by High Speed Train

    First we will visit the Beijing Zoo to see panda and the pandas are more active in the morning. Then we will go to the enchanting Summer Palace, one of the largest and best preserved royal gardens in China, which is famous for the variety of Chinese architectural art appreciated in its gardens.
    In the afternoon you will take high speed train from Beijing to Xian. Our Xian’s guide will meet you at the train station and transfer you to the hotel.

    Xian: Terracotta Army, Big Wild Goose Pagoda and Ancient City Wall

    You have plenty of time to visit the Terracotta Army - one of the most important archaeological finds in the world, with the army of warriors, horses and bronze chariots buried in the tomb of Emperor Qin Shihuang.
    Lunch near the Terracotta Army. Then we will go directly to the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, where he filed the classics brought from India by Master Xuanzang (Tripitaka Monk).
    Then we will visit the Ancient City Wall of Xian, which represents one of the oldest and well preserved walls of Chinese city, with length of 13.74 kilometers.

    Xian: Shaanxi History Museum, Gao Family Grand Courtyard and Chinese Shadow Puppets and Muslim Quarter, Xian to Guilin by Flight

    Today the first visit is the Shaanxi History Museum - one of the first national museums with modern facilities in China. It houses more than 370,000 historical relics and is considered one of the best museums in China.
    Then visit the Gao Family Grand Courtyard, located on Muslim Street and you can see Chinese Shadows Puppets, the traditional Chinese show. Then we can walk down Muslim Street and go shopping.
    Fly to Guilin for 2 hours. Upon arrival in Guilin, your local guide will transfer you to your hotel.

    Guilin: Elephant Trunk Hill, Reed Flute Cave and Fubo Hill

    Today you will visit the Elephant Trunk Hill, the symbol of Guilin. The shape of the hill resembles an elephant with its trunk drinking from the River Li, hence its name. Then enjoy the beautiful view of the city at the top of Fubo Hill.
    In the afternoon, visit to the Reed Flute Cave. As the most impressive cave in Guilin, it is fantastic to appreciate limestone in a strange way under colored lights.

    Guilin: Li River Cruise to Yangshuo, Yangshuo Countryside

    In the morning you will take a Li River Cruise from Guilin to Yangshuo, which is an unforgettable experience. You will see spectacular limestone hills, elegant bamboo groves and farmers in rice fields. A buffet lunch is served on this 4-hour cruise.
    In Yangshuo, you will take the trip through the Yangshuo countryside by car or bicycle to appreciate the poetic natural landscape. On the way, you can make a family visit and learn more about local life by talking to farmers.

    Chinese Painting Class, Guilin to Shanghai by Flight

    Today you will have a Chinese painting class to learn how use the traditional Chinese painting skills to draw.
    When you finish your visit in Yangshuo, you will be transfer directly to Guilin airport for the 2-hour flight to Shanghai.

    Shanghai: Jade Buddha Temple, Oriental Pearl TV Tower, Yu Garden and Yuyuan Market, The Bund

    Today you can see the best of Shanghai. The first place of interest is Jade Buddha Temple, the most famous Buddhist temple in Shanghai where two rare jade statues of Sakyamuni Buddha are valuable. Afterwards, you will continue to visit the Yu Garden, a classical Chinese style garden. The Yuyuan Market offers the hobby of people in Shanghai: shopping. Almost anything can be found here, from antiques to snacks.
    The Oriental Pearl TV Tower is one of the tallest TV towers in the world. On the second floor there is a museum and you can see some very interesting exhibits there. The Bund is a must for tourists coming to Shanghai. The structures that coexist, classic and modernist style, have become the symbol of Shanghai.

In your itinerary, it normally offers two meals each day: breakfast and lunch. You will have the freedom to choose your own dinner. If you have certain food allergies or special requirements such as vegetarian food, please let us know in advance. We will try our best to satisfy your special needs.

Normally served at the hotel where you stay. Depending on the hotel, breakfast is Western style, Chinese style or a combination.
Lunch - A la Carte 
In order to have our customers to taste authentic Chinese food and avoid tourist menus, we take food quality, dining environment and travel convenience into consideration when planning your lunch. Therefore , we will arrange a la carte lunch at a local restaurant whenever possible. Lunch a la carte is varied with different recommended restaurants and different cities. You could order the dishes according to your taste under the instructions of your guide. However, in some remote regions where it is difficult to find a non-tourist restaurant, you could have lunch at a local tourist restaurant or in a local family.
Your Own Dinner Option
Dinner is not included in our China travel package, unless you have this requirement. Looking for food by yourself could also be one of your best experiences in China. Therefore we offer you this flexibility of food choice. You can ask for your private guide to gain good suggestions.

Normally we will arrange vehicles with more space for you and your luggages. Depending on the number of passengers, we generally use sedans or minivans (7 seats) for 4 people or less, large vans or small buses (12-22 seats) for 5 to 12 people, medium cars (33-37 seats) for 13 - 25 people and large buses (more than 45 seats) for more than 25 people.
