    Shanghai Arrival

    Our guide will meet you at Shanghai airport and drive you directly to the hotel in an air-conditioned vehicle. 
  • Day2

    Shanghai: Yu Garden, Yuyuan Bazaar, Jade Buddha Temple, Oriental Pearl TV Tower and the Bund

    After breakfast you will visit Yu Garden, the most beautiful private garden in Shanghai and see the Yuyuan Market. Being considered "The root of Shanghai", Yuyuan Bazaar is a symbol and its most precious cultural card.
    Built in 1881, the Jade Buddha Temple contains two Buddha statues carved out of white jade. The statue of Sakyamuni carved out of a whole piece of white jade is 1.9 m tall and 1.3 m. broad with legs crossed in a sitting posture. The jewels studded on its head, hands and feet are offerings donated by Buddhism believers. Downstairs is the reclining one.
    Climb up the Oriental Pearl TV Tower, Shanghai's tallest television tower, and then walk around the Bund. Though there are different architectural styles such as Gothic, Baroque, Romanesque, Classic, Renaissance-style, and Chinese-western style in the Bund, their architectural pattern is basically consistent. The complex of the Bund is reputed as "exhibition of all countries' buildings".

    Driving to Suzhou, Tongli Water Town, Pingjiang Road, Master of the Nets Garden

    Today we will head towards the Tongli Water Town, one of China's six famous water villages. You can see beautiful typical houses, canals and pretty bridges. You can take a canal cruise to admire the beauty of this charming village.
    And then we will drive to the city of Suzhou. We will walk through the Pingjiang Road, see bridges of different shapes and visit beautiful neighborhoods to experience ancient Suzhou.
    Master of the Nets Garden was initially a private garden built by Shi Zhengzhi, a vice minister in the Southern Song Dynasty, when he settled down in Suzhou after retirement. The garden features a compact but changing layout, with one courtyard in another. It is considered as a good example among small-sized gardens in Suzhou.

    Suzhou to Hangzhou by High Speed Train, West Lake, Lingyin Temple, Meijiawu Tea Village

    Transfer to the Suzhou train station in the morning and go to Hangzhou by high-speed train.
    Enclosed by hills on three sides, the West Lake mirrors the surrounding landscape to form a panorama of great beauty. It covers 1,235 acres(500 ha.) with a shoreline of 9 mi. (15 km). Luxurious trees and flowers grow around the lake. It has been a scenic resort since the Tang Dynasty (618-907 A. D.). Take a cruise on the splendid West Lake to discover its beauty better.
    Then visit Lingyin Temple. Built more than 1, 600 years ago, it is one of the most famous Buddhist temples in China; its major buildings are Hall of the Four Heavenly Kings (Tianmangdian) and the Grand Hall.   
    In the afternoon visit the Meijiawu Tea Village, one of China's most celebrated green teas, is grown here It is famous for its fine color, aroma, flavor, and the beautiful shape of its leaves

    Hangzhou to Huangshan by High Speed Train, Hongcun and Xidi villages

    In the morning you will take high speed train from Hangzhou to Huangshan.
    Upon arrival in Huangshan we will visit the Hongcun and Xidi villages.
    Hongcun Village is situated west of Shexian County. The form of the village is designed to be like the shape of a cow. Besides, the man-made irrigation system is surprisingly scientific and precise. The style of the local houses is special and worthy of appreciation.
    Xidi Village is situated north of Shexian County. It is regarded as Museum of Chinese Folk Houses Built in the Ming and Qing Dynasties and Treasure House of Chinese Ancient Folk Houses. The people in Xidi Village were linked together by ties of blood in the past, and their livelihood mainly depended upon their business activities.

    Yellow Mountains

    Today you will visit Yellow Mountains. Over 86.6 percent of the mountain is covered with trees including a wide variety of ancient trees. Tourists can also find more than 200 pavilions, towers temples and cliff-side carvings in Mount Huangshan. In 1990 Mount Huangshan was included in the world heritage list as a natural and cultural heritage by the UNESCO. The cable car will help you up and down the mountains.

    Yellow Mountains, Tunxi Old Street, Huangshan to Shanghai by High Speed Train

    Today you can get up earlier to see the sunrise and sea of cloud if the weather is good. After that you will get down the mountain by cable car. Then visit the Tunxi Old Street, which has an area of 130,000 square meters, and a length of 1, 273 meters, including 850 meters in the best Shopping area. Franked by 257 well-arranged shops with black roofs and white walls, this pedestrian street shows the architectural style of the Southern Song, Ming and Qing dynasties.
    Transfer you to the railway station and you will back to Shanghai by high speed train.

•    Private Transfers: A private driver and a private tour guide will transfer you to airport/railway station, hotel and attractions in the cities in private air-conditioned vehicle.
•    Private Guide: We provide professional licensed tour guides who speaks English or other langauges  acorrding to your requirement. They are responsible, knowledgeable and have a sense of humor to accompany you throughout your journey.
•    Service Expenses (includes planning, handling, operating and communication expenses) and Government Taxes.

•    Yangtze River Cruise: All meals on board, and shore excursions are included in the cost of the cruise. (Optional excursions are available on some boats). All shore excursions are in group accompanied by boat guide and guide from the excursion site. These guides are provided by the boat company and only speak English. There are no private trips in this part. The ship's route is subject to change due to weather, arrangement of the ship company or other uncontrollable items.

Meals of Young's China Travel•     Meals
In your itinerary, it normally offers two meals each day: breakfast and lunch. You will have the freedom to choose your own dinner. If you have certain food allergies or special requirements such as vegetarian food, please let us know in advance. We will try our best to satisfy your special needs.

Normally served at the hotel where you stay. Depending on the hotel, breakfast is Western style, Chinese style or a combination.
Lunch - A la Carte 
In order to have our customers to taste authentic Chinese food and avoid tourist menus, we take food quality, dining environment and travel convenience into consideration when planning your lunch. Therefore , we will arrange a la carte lunch at a local restaurant whenever possible. Lunch a la carte is varied with different recommended restaurants and different cities. You could order the dishes according to your taste under the instructions of your guide. However, in some remote regions where it is difficult to find a non-tourist restaurant, you could have lunch at a local tourist restaurant or in a local family.
Your Own Dinner Option
Dinner is not included in our China travel package, unless you have this requirement. Looking for food by yourself could also be one of your best experiences in China. Therefore we offer you this flexibility of food choice. You can ask for your private guide to gain good suggestions.

Normally we will arrange vehicles with more space for you and your luggages. Depending on the number of passengers, we generally use sedans or minivans (7 seats) for 4 people or less, large vans or small buses (12-22 seats) for 5 to 12 people, medium cars (33-37 seats) for 13 - 25 people and large buses (more than 45 seats) for more than 25 people.
