  • Day1

    Beijing Arrival

    Arrival in Beijing, the capital of China, your travel guide picks you up at the airport (Beijing Capital International Airport) and transfers to your comfortable hotel. You have free time to explore this city for the rest of the day.
  • Day2

    Beijing: Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City and Temple of Heaven

    Depart from your hotel in the morning to visit Tiananmen Square - the world's largest urban square and the Forbidden City - the largest imperial palace complex, which was home to the emperors of Ming and Qing for over 500 years.
    In the afternoon we head to Temple of Heaven, where the emperors worshipped the sky and prayed for peace and harvest.
     

  • Day3

    Beijing: Mutianyu Great Wall, Olympic Park (See the Exteriors of Bird’s Nest and Water Cube)

    Today we will visit Mutianyu Great Wall - the less crowded section than the Badaling section, which is more popular with foreign visitors. Walking on the venerable walls, you will be stunned by the incredible buildings and frightening scenery surrounding the Wall.
    After lunch in a restaurant near the Mutianyu Great Wall, you have a visit to see the outside of the Bird's Nest (National Stadium) and Water Cube (Beijing National Aquatics Centre) on the way back to the city centre. These two modern wonders are iconic architectures for the 2008 Beijing Olympics.

    Beijing: Hutongs by Rickshaw and Summer Palace, Beijing to Xian on high-speed train

    After breakfast, you will take rickshaw to explore the narrow streets, known as Hutongs in Beijing. A family visit is included and you can better understand the layout of a typical courtyard and the life of local residents. And then, it's a visit to Summer Palace - the largest and best-preserved imperial garden in China with a history of over 800 years. It combines classic Chinese landscape design and natural beauty.
    Transfer to the train station for a high-speed train to Xian. Your local guide will await you at Xian train station.

    Xian: Terracotta Army, Big Wild Goose Pagoda and Ancient City Wall

    Today you have plenty of time to visit Terracotta Army - one of the most important archaeological finds in the world, with the army of warriors, horses and bronze chariots buried in the tomb of Emperor Qin Shihuang.
    Lunch near the Terracotta Army. You will directly head to Big Wild Goose Pagoda, where safe keep the classics brought from India by Master Xuanzang (Monk Tripitaka).
    Today ends with a visit to Ancient City Wall, which represents one of the oldest and well preserved walls of Chinese city, with a length of 13.74 kilometers.

    Xian: Shaanxi History Museum, Hanyangling Museum(Yang Mausoleum of Han), Xian to Guilin by Flight

    Today the first visits is Shaanxi History Museum - one of the first national museums with modern facilities in China. It houses more than 370,000 historical relics and is considered one of the best museums in China.
    After lunch continue to the Yang Mausoleum of the Han Dynasty - the multi-burial cemetery of Emperor Jing and his Empress.
    Fly to Guilin for 2 hours. Upon arrival in Guilin, your guide will transfer you to your hotel.

    Guilin: Elephant Trunk Hill, Fubo Hill, Reed Flute Cave

    Today visit  Elephant Trunk Hill - the symbol of Guilin. The shape of the hill resembles an elephant with its trunk drinking from the River Li, hence its name. Then enjoy the beautiful view of the city at the top of Fubo Hill.
    In the afternoon, move to Reed Flute Cave. As the most impressive cave in Guilin, it is fantastic to appreciate limestone in a strange way under colored lights.

    Guilin: Li River Cruise to Yangshuo, West Street of Yangshuo

    In the morning you will be transferred to the pier for the Li River Cruise between Guilin and Yangshuo, which is an unforgettable experience. You will see spectacular limestone hills, elegant bamboo groves and farmers in rice fields. A buffet lunch is served on this 4-hour cruise.
    Upon arrival at Yangshuo and check-in at your hotel, you can take a stroll along West Street and enjoy the leisure time there.

    Yangshuo Coustryside Trip, Guilin to Shanghai by Flight

    Today you take a trip through the Yangshuo countryside by electric vehicle or bicycle to appreciate the poetic natural landscape. On the way, you can make a family visit and learn more about local life by talking to farmers.
    When you finish visits in Yangshuo, you will be transferred directly to Guilin airport for the 2-hour flight to Shanghai.

    Shanghai: Shanghai Museum, Yu Garden, Shanghai Tower and the Bund

    A full day of tourism begins with  Shanghai Museum, the largest museum in China, with a collection of over 120,000 pieces of Chinese art & cultural relics. Three particular exhibition rooms are established, namely of the Bronze Wares of China, of Ceramics of China and of Ancient Paintings of China.
    Then visit the Yu Garden - a classic Chinese garden in the city center and nearby Shanghai Old Street.
    Then you have a bird's eye view of the city after ascending the new landmark – Shanghai Tower and take a stroll through the world-famous World Architecture Gallery with 52 well-preserved European-style buildings - the Bund.

This kind of hotel could meet the basic requirements for a pleasant stay, good size and clean rooms with air conditioning, TV, hot water, shower and private bathroom, hotel restaurants with breakfast included and lunch or dinner of your choice. A small gym or spa can be expected.
•    Comfortable Class Hotel (4 Stars)
You will normally stay in formal, large hotels conveniently located with shops, restaurants and entertainment facilities nearby. Quality service, fully furnished rooms, restaurants, gym and heated pool (in very rare cases there is no pool) all together offer an above-average accommodation experience.
•    Luxury Class Hotel (5 Stars)

Meals of Young's China Travel•     Meals
In your itinerary, it normally offers two meals each day: breakfast and lunch. You will have the freedom to choose your own dinner. If you have certain food allergies or special requirements such as vegetarian food, please let us know in advance. We will try our best to satisfy your special needs.

Normally served at the hotel where you stay. Depending on the hotel, breakfast is Western style, Chinese style or a combination.
Lunch - A la Carte 
In order to have our customers to taste authentic Chinese food and avoid tourist menus, we take food quality, dining environment and travel convenience into consideration when planning your lunch. Therefore , we will arrange a la carte lunch at a local restaurant whenever possible. Lunch a la carte is varied with different recommended restaurants and different cities. You could order the dishes according to your taste under the instructions of your guide. However, in some remote regions where it is difficult to find a non-tourist restaurant, you could have lunch at a local tourist restaurant or in a local family.
Your Own Dinner Option
Dinner is not included in our China travel package, unless you have this requirement. Looking for food by yourself could also be one of your best experiences in China. Therefore we offer you this flexibility of food choice. You can ask for your private guide to gain good suggestions.

Normally we will arrange vehicles with more space for you and your luggages. Depending on the number of passengers, we generally use sedans or minivans (7 seats) for 4 people or less, large vans or small buses (12-22 seats) for 5 to 12 people, medium cars (33-37 seats) for 13 - 25 people and large buses (more than 45 seats) for more than 25 people.
