    Arrival in Kunming

    Welcome to Kunming, the capital of Yunnan Province in southwest China, and enjoys a mild year-round climate and is often called the city of spring. Your private will guide pick you up at the airport on time and takes you in a comfortable vehicle to your hotel. Enjoy the rest of the day to explore the city on your own. 
    Note: If you arrive early in Kunming, we can arrange visit to Ethnic Town of Yunnan Province. Ethnic Town of Yunnan Province is located-six kilometers south of Kunming City, where 26 villages of minority nationalities have been built such as the Dais, the Bais, the Yis, the Naxis, the Was, the Tibetans, the Ji' nuos, the Lahus, the Bulangs, the Hanis, the De' angs, the Jingpos, and the Zhuangs, all together 13 villages and a home of the Mosuos. In addition, it also has Ethnic Solidarity Square, Ethnic Performance Hall, Ethnic Museum, Ethnic Waxwork House, etc., and offers tourist recreations like sightseeing, traveling leisure, holiday pleasure, recuperation and aquatic sports.

    Stone Forest and Green Lake Park

    Today visit an authentic wonder of nature located 90km southeast of Kunming - Stone Forest. These strange and crowded rock formations, some of 30 meters, have been baptized with names as original as Rhinoceros looking at the moon and Mushroom always alive. This species of petrified forest is crossed by paths and dotted with ponds and viewpoints. 
    Then stroll through the most picturesque park in the northwest of the city of Kunming - Green Lake Park. This park is home to pavilions and bridges, and its lotus-filled ponds are visited by red-billed gulls in winter. You can share the happiness of local people who perform local opera, tai chi and other vibrant activities. 
     
  • Day3

    Dragon Gate on the Western Hills, Yuantong Temple, Kunming Departure

    • Breakfast, Lunch
    Today we will visit two historical places of interest. One reflects Taoism and the other is of Buddhism.
    There is a saying: If you don't visit Western Hills, you haven't visited Kunming; If you don't come to Western Hills, you haven't been to Western Hills; follow the saying and pass the Dragon Gate in the Western Hills to get prosperity in the future. It has a panoramic view of Lake Dianchi and appreciates the groups of Taoist sculptures in caves on the cliff in this scenic area. 
    Visit the oldest Buddhist temple in Kunming to learn about the different pavilions of three denominations of Buddhism. There is also an elegant old garden-style courtyard. After the pleasant trip, you are transferred to the airport or train station for your next destination.

In order to have our customers to taste authentic Chinese food and avoid tourist menus, we take food quality, dining environment and travel convenience into consideration when planning your lunch. Therefore , we will arrange a la carte lunch at a local restaurant whenever possible. Lunch a la carte is varied with different recommended restaurants and different cities. You could order the dishes according to your taste under the instructions of your guide. However, in some remote regions where it is difficult to find a non-tourist restaurant, you could have lunch at a local tourist restaurant or in a local family.

In each city, we have a professional local guide. Our guide picks you up punctually at your arrival from the airport/railway station/spring of each destination. On your way out of that city, your guide will stay by your side until you have checked in and passed through security. All our travel guides in each destination are local and responsible, who know this area well. They accompany you visiting this city during 8 working hours of each day and they will tell background stories of the tourist places, and show you the secret places to take your best Vehicles of Young's China Travel pictures.
When it is necessary to change your itinerary for unexpected reasons, your private travel guide will suggest alternatives to ensure that you still have an excellent experience.

Private Transfer
With our comfortable and safe private transfer, your trip will be more relaxing and less tiring, keeping you in the best spirits to make the most of your experience in China. In all destinations visited, your vehicle is air-conditioned, clean and expertly maintained. Your private driver is licensed, insured and experienced.
Normally we will arrange vehicles with more space for you and your luggages. Depending on the number of passengers, we generally use sedans or minivans (7 seats) for 4 people or less, large vans or small buses (12-22 seats) for 5 to 12 people, medium cars (33-37 seats) for 13 - 25 people and large buses (more than 45 seats) for more than 25 people.
