Yellow Mountain is considered the most beautiful mountain in China. Hike in different parts of the mountain to discover more important sites in the mountain. This 4-day tour offers a 2-day hike in the mountains and a day to discover charming villages with traditional Anhui-style buildings.


Itinerary

  • Day1

    Huangshan Arrival

    • No Meals
    • in city of Huangshan
    Our guide will pick you up at Huangshan airport/train station and transfer you directly to the hotel in an air-conditioned vehicle.
  • Day2

    Yellow Mountain: Yungu Cableway - Begin-to-Believe Peak - Lion Peak - West Sea Grand Canyon

    • Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

    After breakfast we will drive you at the foot of the Yellow Mountain, which is considered the most beautiful mountain in China.
    To save energy you will take Yungu cable car up to White Goose Ridge first and begin today’s hike which will last 6 hours. 
    First you will walk to peak - Beginning-to-Believe Peak. Then continue hiking to Lion Peak, and you will pass some pass some important sites, such as Black Tiger Pine, Dawn Pavilion, Stone Monkey Watching the Sea, Refreshing Terrace.
    In the afternoon you will explore West Sea Grand Canyon. The canyon is also some of the best in the yellow mountain. You will hike for about 3 hours, starting with Dispelling Cloud Pavilion, via 1st Ring and 2nd Ring, and return to the hotel
  • Day3

    Yellow Mountain: Sunrise - Flying-over Rock - Bright Top- Turtle Fish Peak- One Hundred Cloud Ladder- Yuping Pavillion- Greeting-guests Pine

    You can get up early to watch sunrise at the top of the mountain.
    Today you will hike down the mountain for 5-6 hours. You will start from Dispelling Cloud Pavilion, and walk 1 hour y 15 minutes to the Bright Top, passing the famous Flying-over Rock.
    Leave the Bright Top, you will get to the Turtle Fish Peak.  Hike along the One Hundred Cloud Ladder you will see Lotus Peak, the highest peak of Yellow Mountain. Then you will walk to Yuping Pavillion and the famous Greeting-guests Pine is waiting for you, which is the symbol of Mount Huang.
    Lastly take the Yuping cable car down to Mercy Light Pavilion and you will finish hiking.
  • Day4

    Hongcun and Xidi Villages, Tunxi Street, Huangshan Departure

    • Breakfast, Lunch
    Today you will visit two ancient villages - Hongcun and Xidi, which are representatives of the Hui style architecture.
    Constructed in the Northern Song Dynasty, Hongcun village has a history of nearly 1,000 years. It is an architectural miracle constructed by the ancient people in accordance with the bionics。
    Xidi is eight kilometers east of the seat of Yixian County. Most of the 300 houses in the village were constructed in the Ming and Qing dynasties, of which 124 were well preserved, fully displaying the architectural style of Anhui province. Most of the houses in the village are wood-and-brick structures with horse-head walls and black tiles. They are known for their beautiful decorations, exquisite structure, and deep cultural connotations.
    Tunxi Street is Huangshan's shopping centre. There are many shops, restaurants and tea houses; it is a good place to buy souvenirs.
    After tour you will be transferred to the airport/train station for your next destination.

•    Meals: All meals are specified in the itinerary. Breakfast is usually a Western-style buffet at the hotel, or could be a Chinese breakfast in some remote areas. Chinese lunch will be arranged in a local restaurant.
•    Hotels: All rooms have air conditioning and private bathroom, unless specified.
•    Private Transfers: A private driver and a private tour guide will transfer you to airport/railway station, hotel and attractions in the cities in private air-conditioned vehicle.
•    Private Guide: We provide professional licensed tour guides who speaks English or other langauges  acorrding to your requirement. They are responsible, knowledgeable and have a sense of humor to accompany you throughout your journey.
•    Service Expenses (includes planning, handling, operating and communication expenses) and Government Taxes.
•    Insurance: China Life Tourist Accident/Casualty Insurance

Meals of Young's China Travel•     Meals
In your itinerary, it normally offers two meals each day: breakfast and lunch. You will have the freedom to choose your own dinner. If you have certain food allergies or special requirements such as vegetarian food, please let us know in advance. We will try our best to satisfy your special needs.
Breakfast
Normally served at the hotel where you stay. Depending on the hotel, breakfast is Western style, Chinese style or a combination.
Lunch - A la Carte 
In order to have our customers to taste authentic Chinese food and avoid tourist menus, we take food quality, dining environment and travel convenience into consideration when planning your lunch. Therefore , we will arrange a la carte lunch at a local restaurant whenever possible. Lunch a la carte is varied with different recommended restaurants and different cities. You could order the dishes according to your taste under the instructions of your guide. However, in some remote regions where it is difficult to find a non-tourist restaurant, you could have lunch at a local tourist restaurant or in a local family.
Your Own Dinner Option
Dinner is not included in our China travel package, unless you have this requirement. Looking for food by yourself could also be one of your best experiences in China. Therefore we offer you this flexibility of food choice. You can ask for your private guide to gain good suggestions.

All our travel guides in each destination are local and responsible, who know this area well. When it is necessary to change your itinerary for unexpected reasons, your private travel guide will suggest alternatives to ensure that you still have an excellent experience.

Normally we will arrange vehicles with more space for you and your luggages. Depending on the number of passengers, we generally use sedans or minivans (7 seats) for 4 people or less, large vans or small buses (12-22 seats) for 5 to 12 people, medium cars (33-37 seats) for 13 - 25 people and large buses (more than 45 seats) for more than 25 people.
