    Beijing:Tian'anmen Square, Forbidden City, Mutianyu Great Wall

    7:00 AM -8:30 AM Hotel pick-up and Visit the Tian’anmen Square
    Today our guide will pick you up at your hotel around 7:00-8:30 a.m. Firstly you will visit Tiananmen Square. Tiananmen Square is located in the centre of the city of Beijing, one of the largest public squares in the world. Originally, during the feudal era, it was a palace square surrounded by red walls, and entry was forbidden to anyone except authorized persons .Occupying an area of 5 hectares and renovated and expanded, the square is now used for large gatherings and is a popular place to visit. On the northern end of the square stands Tiananmen Tower, golden, purple, and radiant. During the ancient days, the emperor would lead his officials in making sacrifice to the flag at the foot of the tower whenever a military expedition was being launched. Public proclamations were made here as well. The tower was regarded as a sacred place。
     
    8:30 AM - 11:30 AM Visit the Forbidden City
    Walk north, you will visit the Forbidden City. The Forbidden City is known today as the Palace Museum. Its construction began in 1406 and was completed fourteen years later. Occupying an area of 720,000 square metres. It served as the official residence of twenty-four emperors for a period of 491 years, beginning in I420 with Emperor Cheng Zu of the Ming Dynasty, and ending with Emperor Puyi (1906-1967), whose Qing Dynasty was overthrown in 1911.
     
    11:30 AM – 1:30 PM Drive to the Mutianyu Great Wall and have lunch at a local Chinese restaurant
    In the afternoon travel 1.5 hours from Beijing city downtown to the Great Wall of Mutianyu and enjoy your delicious Beijing local food for lunch firstly
     
    1:30 PM – 4:00 PM Visit the Great Wall of China at Mutianyu
    In the afternoon you'll visit the Great Wall at Mutianyu. The section is ranked top 1st among all parts of the Great Wall on TripAdvisor, less tourists, and beautifully-restored architecture. The round-way cable car is included.
    It normally takes about 2 hours to hike on the Wall.
     
    4:00 PM – 6:00 PM Transfer back to your hotel.

    08:00 AM – 08:40 AM Visit Jingshan Park
    Facing the Forbidden City’s Gate of Divine Valour across the street, the Jingshan Park was an imperial garden during the Ming y Qing Dynasties. The Jingshan Hill, situated on the meridian line of the city of Beijing, provides a panoramic view of the capital.

    08:40 AM – 09:30 AM Transport to Summer Palace, approx. 50-miniute driving.
    09:30 AM – 11:00 AM Visit the Summer Palace

    You’ll visit the best-preserved imperial garden- Summer Palace. It occupies an area of 290 hectares, three-fourths of which are water. The entire area was divided into three sections: the political activity section, the living quarters, and the scenic and recreational section The political activity section was centered on the Hall of Benevolent Longevity(Renshoudian), where Empress Dowager Cixi used to make important decisions on state affairs. Behind this hall and on the shore of Kunming Lake were the living quarters, made up of three large courtyards. To the west of the living quarters, around Kunming Lake and encompassing Longevity Hill (Wansboushan),was the scenic section. The principal building in this section is the Tower of Buddhist Incense (Foxiangge), standing on top of Longevity Hill On the southern fringe of Longevity Hill and stretching along the northern shore of Kunming Lake is the painted Long Gallery (Changlang), measuring 728 metres in length. It has four octagonal pavilions with double roofs at regular intervals. Connecting all the buildings in front of Longevity Hill, it was the longest gallery among the classical gardens. The lake, with the graceful buildings along its shore, reminds one of a classic landscape south of the Yangtze River.

    1:00 PM – 2:30 PM Visit the Temple of Heaven
    Located in the southern section of the city, Temple of Heaven Park is only a short distance south of the Forbidden City. The park occupies an area of 270 hectares. The principal buildings in the park are the Hall of Prayer for Good Harvest (Qi imiandian), the Imperial Vault of Heaven (Huangqiongyu), and the Circular Mound Altar(Huanqiutai). The Hall of Prayer for Good Harvest has a height of 38 metres, a diameter of 3o metres, and three layers of eaves, one on top of the other, crowned with a huge golden ball. The entire structure was built of wood, and not a single nail was used during construction. The absence of nails is characteristic of many of China's ancient buildings The Imperial Vault of Heaven is a single-roofed circular structure with deep blue glazed tiles. Around it is a low wall, well known as the Echo Wall(Huiyinbi). Leading to the entrance are the mysterious Three Echo Stones (Sanyinshi), with their strange acoustic properties.
     
    3:00 PM – 4:00 PM Visit Qianmen Street
    Already a major business centre 500 years ago, Qianmen Street is clustered with old stores. Many stores on the "pedestrians only" Dashalan Street, for instance, are at least 100 years old.

    4:00 PM – 5:30 PM You will be transferred back to your hotel,.
