    Beijing ArrivalBeijing: Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City and Summer Place

    You private guide will wait for you at the Beijing Capital International airport on time and transfer you to your hotel. You can have free time of the rest of the day and explore the city by yourself.
  • Day2

    Beijing: Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City and Summer Place

    Located in the center of Beijing, Tian'anmen Square is the largest city central square in the world with an area of 440,000 square meters. Tian'anmen(Gate of the Heavenly Peace) was the front gateway of the imperial palace of the Ming and Qing dynasties where imperial edicts were made public. The inauguration ceremony of the People's Republic of China was held here on October1, 1949.
    The Forbidden City, where 24 emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties resided, is located in the center of the central axial line of Beijing, the Forbidden City was first constructed I 1406. It has more than 9,000 hall and rooms, and contains a large number of valuable cultural relic is the large palace in the world, and one of the world cultural heritages.
    Constructed in the Qing Dynasty the Summer Place was an imperial garden. It displays excellent gardening art, and gathers tens of thousands of precious cultural relics.

    Gubeikou to Jinshanling Great wall Trekking

    Today we hike from the Gubeikou Great Wall to the Jinshanling Great wall. It is a very original and less restored section. The hike will take about 5 hours. There are many watchtowers in traditional style. After today's hike you will be accommodated in a hotel near the great Jinshangling wall. Our tour guides are all professional mountain guides which are well trained with many years’ experience on hiking.  

  • Day4

    Hiking from Jinshanling Great Wall to Longyukou

    • Breakfast, Lunch
    • in Beijing
    After breakfast we will continue hike on the Great Wall in the different part. We will hike between the Jinshanling Great Wall to the part of Longyukou following the direction to the Simatai Great Wall (for the moment the Simatai Great Wall is still closed to tourists). The hike will take about 3 - 4 hours.
    Then we will be back to Beijing and transfer to your hotel.
  • Day5

    Temple of Heaven, Hutongs by Rickshaw and, Beijing Departure

    • Breakfast
    Today is the last day in Beijing and the visit covers the Temple of Heaven and Hutong.
    The Temple of Heaven, where the emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties worshipped for the good harvest, now is a public park. Many Chinese people practice martial arts in the morning.
    You will have a rickshaw ride through Hutongs. The hutong is a kind of lane lined on both sides by courtyard containing compound houses. Hutongs cover about one third of the area of Beijing, and half of Beijing's population live in hutongs. You can visit the residences of former princes, compounds for ordinary people, temples, and former residences of celebrities, view the ordinary people's life, taste delicious food at a resident's home, and have a chat with local people within three hours
    In the end you will then be transferred to the airport/train station to your next destination.

Meals of Young's China Travel•     Meals
In your itinerary, it normally offers two meals each day: breakfast and lunch. You will have the freedom to choose your own dinner. If you have certain food allergies or special requirements such as vegetarian food, please let us know in advance. We will try our best to satisfy your special needs.
Breakfast
Normally served at the hotel where you stay. Depending on the hotel, breakfast is Western style, Chinese style or a combination.
Lunch - A la Carte 
In order to have our customers to taste authentic Chinese food and avoid tourist menus, we take food quality, dining environment and travel convenience into consideration when planning your lunch. Therefore , we will arrange a la carte lunch at a local restaurant whenever possible. Lunch a la carte is varied with different recommended restaurants and different cities. You could order the dishes according to your taste under the instructions of your guide. However, in some remote regions where it is difficult to find a non-tourist restaurant, you could have lunch at a local tourist restaurant or in a local family.
Your Own Dinner Option
Dinner is not included in our China travel package, unless you have this requirement. Looking for food by yourself could also be one of your best experiences in China. Therefore we offer you this flexibility of food choice. You can ask for your private guide to gain good suggestions.

Depending on the number of passengers, we generally use sedans or minivans (7 seats) for 4 people or less, large vans or small buses (12-22 seats) for 5 to 12 people, medium cars (33-37 seats) for 13 - 25 people and large buses (more than 45 seats) for more than 25 people.
